๐Ÿงน Cleanup Event FAQs

๐Ÿ“ When and where is the event?

  • The community cleanup event will take place on Saturday, March 21st from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM.

  • The address for the meetup location is 2325 Clarence Lee Dr. Montgomery, AL 36108

  • Please arrive between 7:30AM and 7:45AM to check in and pickup supplies.

๐Ÿ“ What happens when I arrive?

  • Upon arrival, head to the registration table to sign in.

  • You’ll be assigned to a cleanup group and area. Each group will have a WMAC team lead.

  • If you registered as a group, you’ll be placed together.

โ€‹

๐Ÿš— Will I need to drive to my cleanup area?

  • Some areas are walkable from the registration site.

  • Others may require a short drive—no more than 2–5 miles from the starting point.

โ€‹

๐Ÿงค What equipment is provided?

  • We’ll supply latex gloves, trash grabbers, and trash bags.

  • A limited number of heavy-duty gloves are available.

  • If you prefer a different glove style, feel free to bring your own.

๐Ÿ’ง Will water be available?

  • Yes! Water stations will be set up at all cleanup areas to keep you hydrated.

โ€‹

๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Is lunch provided?

  • Absolutely! Lunch will be provided to registered volunteers only and served at 11:00 AM sharp.

๐Ÿ” What should I do with the equipment after the event?

  • Please return all issued equipment to your team lead or the designated drop-off area.
